Resident Reviews
|Recommended: YesI seriously lucked out with this apartment. The complex was built in 2020, so all of the appliances are new and clean. All residents are ND grad students with families, so everyone is considerate and kind. In a safe neighborhood. Staff and maintenance are prompt and considerate. On the edge of campus. Seriously could not recommend this place enough.
|Recommended: YesKindra made it easy — Kindra was extremely accomodating in getting family situated. She is the best
|Recommended: YesKindra at the onsite office is amazing After my moving plans fell through, I asked her if I could move my lease up a month. What I thought was a huge, impossible ask turned out to be an easy fix for her. By the end of the day she had everything organized for me to move in much earlier than I originally expected. Couldn't be more thankful Very responsive, helpful, accommodating, and flexible.
|Recommended: YesGenerally a nice place — It's convenient to get to campus. Everyone in the community is really nice. The mail system needs to be figured out better, but definitely manageable. The apartments themselves are nice.
|Recommended: YesThe Best Apartment — Should not miss the chance
|Recommended: YesFirst Week at The Landings — Loving my apartment so far. The apartments are beautiful and affordable. The community is clean, there is plenty of parking. Patti and Germaine have both been incredibly helpful. Only con is the noise from the apartment above mine is VERY VERY loud - sounds like running and stomping. Overall very happy
|Recommended: NoThe walls are so thin my daughter can hear every footstep and talking. So much Construction is going on she can’t even drive back to her apartment door. The staff is never in the office so nothing can ever get done if you need help. Packages are never delivered correctly and Amazon packages are just left outside the office for anyone to take. Not a fan
|Recommended: NoThere is no property staff — There is only one woman working as a property staff manager, who does nothing. You can't find her and she usually doesn't reply to your emails.
There is only one maintenance guy, who can't fix everything. Since our move in the dishwasher wasn't working, after waiting for 10 days I fixed it myself.
|Recommended: YesNice place to call home — So far the Landings has treated my wife and me very well. It is a nice, quiet environment, which we both appreciate as grad students, and the neighbors are generally friendly. The appliances aren't top of the line, but they run well and we haven't had any complaints about them. The apartment is generally well built and good quality as well, not cheap or easy to scuff, etc. The distance to the important parts of campus is a little over a mile of walking, and the shuttle is free and runs on time generally. The managers do are always nice and willing to help out, which is helpful, and we have no trouble asking them questions whenever we need. Overall, we are planning to stay until graduation in a couple years for sure.

|Recommended: YesSo far so good — We have only been here a week but we love it It has met all our expectations and we are happy with what it's been thus far. Great view of the golden dome just outside our apartment as well.
|Recommended: YesThe Landings at Notre Dame — We have immensely enjoyed our first few days at The Landings at Notre Dame. The apartment is bright, new, and tastefully designed. It is so nice to have a washer and dryer right by the kitchen The love that our living room window faces the green space, and are enjoying being on the first floor. We have met many wonderful families already We love having a playground right outside the door for our toddler son, and are excited to participate in the events at the Family Resource Center.
My husband is planning to bike to work, but we don't have a good place to store his bike, as it doesn't fit well in the storage unit. When we arrived, the carpet in the living and bedroom spaces was covered with debris which we had to clean up.
|Recommended: YesReview. — The staff is very friendly and helpful. The materials used for the walls nick and mark very easily--seems to be of poor quality. There isn't enough space for a full bed and a dresser night stand in the middle room due to the way the door closet door opens. The HVAC is very good. There is plenty of storage space, too.
|Recommended: YesReview Title — Pretty good. Bedrooms are a little small wifi connection is solid.
|Recommended: YesNice Move-in — The Landings was so helpful with our move-in. They worked with our move-in date and apartment suggestions. The day of move-in was smooth. We checked in the office and Patti was so helpful. We signed a couple things and got our keys quickly. She was more than accommodating. I watched the kids on the fun playground while my husband was able to start moving things in immediately. Jermaine introduced himself and let us know that they're there to help us. Very welcoming and helpful staff. The apartments are so nice and clean. The grounds look great too. It's nice that there's extra protection with a hall fob access and a door key I'll just have to always remember to have my keys whenever I run out We're excited to live here and build community with others in Notre Dame family housing.
